"After encountering serious problems with our network earlier this
year, we instructed Keith Grant of PC Consultancy to undertake a review
of the network and make recommendations to us. The review was undertaken
promptly, and the number of recommendations to rectify the problems was
remarkably small; and achieved at lower cost than anticipated.
We then instructed the firm to source a backup solution. Keith recommended & implemented a high speed backup system and removable hard drive, enabling us to ensure an off-site backup was taken each evening. Again this was achieved at a remarkably low cost - and enables us to back up our entire system and programs in less than 15 minutes each evening.
Two months ago the hard drive on our server failed leading to a total loss of 8 years data. Due to the system installed by Keith, we were able to restore all data and programs to the new hard drive in less than 30 minutes.
We were so impressed with the service provided that in August 2005 we paid for Keith to fly to our office in Lithuania, and solve the network problems there. Again, we were more than satisfied with the results.
Keith now attends our office on a monthly basis to review the network and our systems, and take preventative measures to avoid future problems.
